Updated password security information

To ensure your internet banking is as secure as possible and to further to protect your experience, we strongly recommend you consider the following:

- Change your password on a regular basis
- Check the strength of your password using Microsoft’s password checker https://www.microsoft.com/protect/yourself/password/checker.mspx
|
- Try not to use your telephone number, date of birth, address information or numerical or alphabetical sequences
- Use a combination of letters and numbers for your password
|
- For new users Big Sky has a requirement of a minimum of 8 characters (maximum 25) which must include at least 2 numbers
|
- Do not disclose your password to anyone and avoid writing it down
- Always ‘logout’ of the secure session after you have finished
- If other people can access your computer ensure you logout of the internet banking session and close the web browser once you have finished
- Ensure that current and well-respected anti-virus software is installed and working on your computer at all times
