Dispute Resolution

Do you have a complaint?
The Directors, Managers and staff of Big Sky understand that although we do our best to provide a high level of service, you may at times feel that there are issues that have not been resolved to your satisfaction.

Big Sky is committed to providing exceptional and superior service to all our members. Complaints provide Big Sky with an opportunity to identify where it may be failing this commitment. To ensure members have the opportunity to make these complaints known, Big Sky has a Complaints and Dispute Resolution Procedure which members can access free of charge. This procedure means:

  • You have a way of having your complaints addressed;
  • Our Directors and Senior Management will be aware of the issue that is of concern to you; and
  • Where possible, Big Sky has an opportunity to improve its procedures, products and services.

Internal
You may lodge a complaint with Big Sky regarding a product or service in the following ways:

  • In writing to Big Sky Credit Union, GPO Box 1801 Melbourne VIC 3001;
  • By calling 1300 654 321;
  • Visiting one of our Service Centres where one of our friendly consultants will assist you.

If the complaint is unable to be resolved immediately it will be forwarded to a more senior or experienced person. Big Sky aims to have your complaint resolved within 14 days. If we are unable to do so, your complaint will be forwarded to our Internal Disputes Manager and you will be notified in writing advising you of this.

For more information on the Big Sky Complaint Dispute Resolution procedure please view our information brochure Big Sky Dispute Resolution Procedure.
Big Sky is fully committed to dealing with complaints promptly with the view to resolving the complaint to the satisfaction of yourself and Big Sky.
