As a part of Big Sky’s commitment to Roxby Downs we produce a quarterly newsletter called ‘Rise’ for the community. Rise aims to provide readers with a snapshot of what is happening in Roxby Downs and how Big Sky is contributing to the Roxby Downs community.

Roxby Downs is proud to re-launch its Service Centre at Tutop Street and introducing Roxby’s first Community Banking Provider.
Community banking is an initiative where everyone benefits, you as an individual, as a family, as a local business and most importantly as a community.
As an individual and a family you will benefit from having a wide range of products and services with very competitive interest rates and fee structure. Our staff members have been trained to put members first, so you will be our number one priority. You will also benefit from various community development activities Big Sky sponsors, such as the monthly Community Person of the month, Re-lay for life and the annual Christmas Pageant.
As a local business you’ll benefit by the introduction of merchant facilities, cash handling facilities and transactional accounts. As a part of the community you’ll benefit from Big Sky’s involvement and support of community events, sponsorship of community groups and sporting clubs, and the establishment of the Roxby Downs Community Foundation.
The Roxby Downs Community Foundation will benefit by receiving 10% of profits after tax made by the Big Sky Roxby Downs Service Centre. The Foundation will engage in activities such as financial literacy and other initiatives that will benefit Roxby Downs and surrounding districts locals.
By becoming a Big Sky member and using Big Sky for all your banking needs you will be contributing to the Roxby Downs community.

Roxby Downs Community Foundation
|
As a Big Sky community banking provider Big Sky has developed the Roxby Downs Community Foundation.
The Roxby Downs Community Foundation will contribute to the development of the Roxby Downs community.
A major part of Big Sky's commitment is contributing 10% of the Roxby Downs Service Centre's after tax profit. The funds are to be invested in community initiatives deemed relevant by the independent Community Foundation Board.
Currently Big Sky have been going through the process of establishing a Board of Seven people which will consist of two Big Sky members (one as a founding member), one from Business (or Corporate), one from Council or similar body and three members from the community.

Roxby Downs' Community Person of the Month
|
We are proud to support Roxby Downs’ Community Person of the Month. The community person of the month is an initiative of the Volunteer Partnership, and is supported by the Monitor Newspaper, Roxby Council and sponsored by Big Sky.
The community person of the month is nominated by locals of Roxby Downs such as family members, friends, neighbours and colleagues. The winner nominates a charity of their choice to receive a $100 cheque from Big Sky.
