Community Banking

Big Sky is the community banking provider in the mining townships of South Hedland, Newman (WA), Roxby Downs (SA) and Moranbah (QLD). As a provider of banking and related financial services in these communities Big Sky’s performs a number of roles: a critical commercial function, an increasingly important philanthropic role, and an educative position, particularly within the local schools.

Big Sky’s education aims are centred upon delivering to schools in each of these communities our School Banking Program with our e-Kids Saver account.

Our e-Kids mascot, Eddy the Echidna makes learning about managing money fun for school age children and our visitation program ensures kids get excited about saving.
