Community Involvement

Big Sky is committed to supporting both it's regional and Employer Communities by sponsoring and contributing to many initiatives. At a regional level, in addition to establishing  Community Foundations in 3 of its regional areas (Hedland, Roxby Downs & Moranbah), which gives back 10% of after tax profits to the local community, Big Sky has proudly supported a variety of events including:

• Moranbah’s Women in Business Breakfast and Miners Junior Rugby League
• Newman’s Fortescue Festival and Solar Boat Challenge
• Hedland’s Apprentice and Trainee Awards Night and Pilbara TAFEWA Student Training Awards
• Roxby Downs’ Community Person of the Month and Saint Barbara’s Parish School Read-a-Thon.

Amongst our Employer Communities we also continue to actively support and participate in events such as golf days, Christmas parties, Easter activities and other fundraising activities.
